19 Apr Focus Cares | Adopt A Dog
These cute dogs were rescued from area shelters and are in need of love, hugs, and a HOME! Focus Magazine, together with Saving K9 Lives Plus, will proudly donate the full adoption fee paid by anyone choosing to add one of these adorable pets to their family, enabling this amazing organization to rescue another dog. With your help we can save twice the number of dogs on this page!
As an added bonus, Focus Magazine will feature your new, precious family member in an upcoming issue.
PUPPIES FOR ADOPTION
All puppies and dogs are spayed/neutered, vaccinated including rabies and microchip.
This is Poppy. She is a two year old Beagle Dachshund mix rescued from San Bernardino City Shelter when she was very pregnant. She delivered 4 pups 2.5 weeks after being rescued. She is very sweet and loving and weighs 11 lbs
Poppy’s Puppies: Can be adopted separately
Lucas is one of our medical cases. He was dumped at the Downey shelter by owners who deemed him “Too Old”. He is sweet as pie and about 10 yrs old. He is being treated for a bad skin infection and anemia. He will be ready for adoption in the beginning of May. He weighs 4.5 lbs and loves to be held.
Sweet lovable Kane is a four year old pug min pin mix. He is full of life and energy and gives tons of kisses. He was abandoned by his owner after she had a baby! He is 4 years old and weighs 15 lbs.
Bentley was in the Isolation ward of West Valley Shelter since he was so tiny at 3 pounds. Bentley came into the shelter as a stray. The shelter listed him as 8 years old with major dental. Tiny dogs have severe dental problems if they are not cared for at a young age. Bentley’s eyes surrounding his pupils are still blue white which is a sign of a young dog. We believe he is around 5 years old. Bentley will be neutered with dental cleaning.
Piper was being sold downtown Los Angeles for $30 on the streets. One of our adopters bought her and asked the rescue to take the puppy when they bought her. Piper is 6 weeks old, female Shi Tzu/ terrier mix.
This is Cappy, 1 year old, 7 lbs West Highland Terrier mix. Cappy was red listed (danger of being euthanized) at East Valley Shelter. Cappy will need some training. He is safe and getting ready to go to his new forever home.
Matilda the mom’s puppies: Can be adopted separately.
Matilda, Havanese Mix, surprised West Valley Shelter by giving birth to four beautiful puppies. Matilda and her puppies left the shelter when they were five days old. The puppies are all unique and very different than their mama. Alexis and Dillon are white Terrier mix. They are not hypo-allergic as they shed. Mocha has the marking of a Brussels Griffon and Kalhua is the fluffy chocolate Havanese. All the puppies have been treated with a dewormer.
Melody and Harmony were found on someone’s lawn. The girls were taken to North Central Shelter as strays. The rescue thinks the girls came from a puppy store or breeder. Melody and Harmony were spayed when they left the shelter. They had giardia and kennel which has been treated. Melody loves to curl up with her foster mom. Harmony loves adventure and wants to play.
MELODY and HARMONY would love to be adopted together but willing to separate them if need be.
Rescue these wonderful dogs today with Focus Magazine’s pledge to #payitforward
